In order to develop more digital leaders in the organization, VMware recently launched the Senior Women Leadership Program in partnership with Elev8, the global leading partner in digital skilling and transformative education.

The program is designed to support senior female executives in the Americas (Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina and United States) with the critical leadership skills required to lead digital transformation, change management, and equip them to take their careers and the organizations they lead to the next level.

Through master classes and innovative active learning methodologies, practical workshops, and coaching sessions, participants will develop competencies such as critical thinking and complex decision-making, creativity and innovation, negotiation, and effective communication and storytelling. These are all essential skills to succeed in the digital era.

The program will reinforce other vital areas for female executives, such as the creation of a digital identity and personal brand, as well as adopting new ways of working to drive digital transformation. Learning about agile methodologies will help them rethink the future, bet on disruptive and innovative initiatives, and adapt to the new scenarios brought by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The executive coaches and digital skilling professionals delivering the program are prominent leaders in the technology industry with extensive international experience in companies such as LinkedIn, Intel, and Airbnb. The group also includes professors from prestigious universities such as Harvard, Stanford, the University of London, and Instituto de Empresa.

VMware and Elev8 worked together to design this program to train more women leaders throughout Latin America in 2023.

“Empowering more women leaders is a priority for VMware globally. We are very pleased to launch this pilot in Latin America because we are sure it will greatly support our female executives in their professional growth,” explained Pablo Arce, Director of VMware Global Support for the Americas.

Elev8 remains committed to being a strategic ally for developing women leaders as agents of change and a learning partner for organizations that want to support their female employees through continuous training.

“Our digital age leadership and professional growth programs help professionals create a career development plan to become agents of change within their organization. We are very proud to launch this program with VMware and look forward to partnering with many other companies in this effort to break glass ceilings,” said Jeannie Bonilla, Global Head of Learning Experience at Elev8.

In 2022, Elev8 carried out several initiatives focused on diversity and inclusion. It brought together business and government leaders to discuss the challenges women face today to reach leadership positions. The firm organized a Hackathon with sister company Tek Experts to encourage innovation and technological disruption among female engineers. In addition, it launched its first AWS re / Start cloud computing program exclusively for women with the CRUSA Foundation and Amazon Web Services.
